Phantom Helix investigation workspace holding evidence and connected entities in one case

Founder note

Why Phantom Helix exists.

Investigation work is rarely limited by a lack of information. The harder problem is keeping sources, reasoning, uncertainty, and review connected as a case develops.

01

The first fact is rarely the hard part.

An investigation gets harder as sources, documents, identities, relationships, and dates build up. A team must still preserve why each detail matters.

The work spreads across tabs, files, tools, notes, and reports. Soon the investigator spends as much time reconstructing context and checking prior reasoning as finding the next supported lead.

02

One principle, two ways to work.

SIERRA is a local-first workspace for active investigations. It connects evidence, entities, timelines, notes, and tool output while the investigator stays in control of the working material.

Phantom Agent handles the research groundwork. Give it the question, review the sources and findings, then decide where the investigation goes next. Neither product replaces professional judgment.

03

It is for professional work that keeps changing shape.

Phantom Helix is for investigators, analysts, OSINT researchers, fraud teams, and due-diligence practitioners. Their work often moves between people, organizations, assets, disputes, infrastructure, and public records.

The tools keep evidence traceable and uncertainty visible. They also preserve enough source context for another professional to review or continue the work.

Working standard

Keep sources, reasoning, uncertainty, and review in one flow.

The point is not to automate a conclusion or decorate a graph. It is to preserve enough context to understand, challenge, revisit, and hand over the work.

01

Keep claims next to sources

A finding should remain connected to the material and source scope that support it.

02

Separate findings from leads

Supported findings, candidate pivots, blocked checks, and open questions should stay distinct.

03

Keep context attached

Entities, relationships, dates, notes, and tool output should remain understandable together.

04

Make review possible

Another investigator should be able to inspect the evidence, challenge the reasoning, and continue the work.

Why it matters

Capable tools should be accessible.

I have seen how much clear information and real community support can matter when people are under pressure.

I want useful investigative tooling to be available to professional teams that cannot justify extremely expensive software. SIERRA and Phantom Agent are two ways I am testing that goal.

Real workflow feedback

Tell me where the work still breaks.

Feedback from real, recurring investigation work is more useful than a generic feature list. Explain where source collection, review, or report preparation still breaks.
